Common questions

Formatting was not removed

Check that FormatMatch is turned on in its menu and that the app you copied from is not on your exclusion list. If any app is excluded, copies whose source app cannot be identified are also left unchanged.

I want to keep formatting once

Choose Keep Next Copy Formatted from the FormatMatch menu before you copy.

How do I stop it?

Choose Deactivate FormatMatch from the menu, or quit it. To remove it, delete it from your Applications folder.
